Text Box:  PROCEDURES FOR  YARD WASTE Pick Up
The Baroda Village Maintenance Department will pick up your grass clippings IF
they are placed in a container (or bags).  We ask that containers be placed on the property
line with an adjoining neighbor.  You will receive one warning notice if your yard waste is
not in a container or on a property line.
The Village Maintenance Department will also pick up your leaves IF they are raked to
the edge of the street.
Please do not mix small limbs or branches in with the grass clippings or leaves.
Place small limbs or branches in a separate pile, bundled up in 2 to 4 feet sections or placed
in a container and they will be glad to pick them up on a separate load.
If you prefer, you may purchase green yard waste bags for your grass clippings and/or leaves to be picked-up by Michiana Recycling on the regular trash pick-up day. Bags are available at the Baroda Township Office and cost $1 per bag. Please note that our Maintenance Department does not pick up the green recycling bags.
If you have questions regarding grass or leaf pickup, please contact Bubber Krone at 422-1828.
