FREE Tax Assistance Available for Seniors at Central County Senior Center

   When you have received all of your necessary tax papers such as bank

statements, insurance information, employer, etc., in the mail help is available to help you prepare your tax return. Just call to make an appointment at the Central County Senior Center.

   Bring the following to your appointment:

Copy of last year’s income tax return(s)

All monthly or annual Income Statements for you/spouse (W-2’s)

SSI Statment(s)

Social Security Benefit Statement(s) - Form SSA-1099

SSI Statement(s)

Pension(s) & Information pertaining to the company(ies) you receive it from - Form 1099-R

All interest and Dividend Statement(s) from your financial institution(s) - Form 1099-INT

Bring your Property Tax Notice(s)

Please bring a personal check if you wish to have direct deposit for your refund

Rent Receipts (if you pay rent)

Name and Address of your landlord

Total cost of heat from the previous year and the name of your supplier

Please make sure to bring in any other information you feel would be helpful in preparing your taxes. Your Tax appointment will go a lot faster if you make sure that you have all of your necessary paper work with you at the time of your appointment!

  The 2010 Consumer Confidence Report is available for review by clicking the link above. It is a State requirement that this information is given to all of our water customers. In the past this report has been published in the newspaper, but in an effort to reduce expenses we are moving to a mailing format.

   The Village of Baroda buys the water from Lake Charter Township. We take pride in reporting that the drinking water provided by Lake Township Water System meets or exceeds established water quality standards. This report covers the drinking water quality for 2009 and copies may be obtained by calling 269-422-1779. Included are the details about where your water comes from, what it contains, and how it compares to United Stated Environmental Protection Agency and state standards.
